We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome a representative of the "Women in Hebron" co-operative to address a public meeting in Guildford on Thursday 29 October.  The cooperative produces traditional Palestinian handicrafts and is a vital lifeline for many families in the strife-torn town of Hebron.  There will also be an opportunity to purchase some of these beautiful products. Click Read more below for more information.

There are several events taking place locally over the next couple of months which you may wish to support. Please find details below and we look forward to seeing some of you there.

Many of you will have attended Professor Colin Green's excellent talk on the Israeli war machine two weeks ago.  He has contacted us about Daniel Morris, his son-in-law, who is taking part in a fund-raising bike ride, which passes through Surrey on 2nd August.  The funds he raises by the bike ride will be given to Oxfam’s clean water programmes in Gaza and in the West Bank to support their work in the desperate Bedouin ‘unrecognised’ villages.
